Welcome to Dottie's World Inc.

Dottie’s World Inc. is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to fashion programs while intentionally building essential life skills for underserved youth and young adults.

 Our mission is to empower underserved youth ages 9-17,  by providing access to fashion programs and related cultural experiences that build confidence, teach life skills, influence academic growth and inspire entrepreneurship.

Through immersive, hands-on programming, Dottie’s World Inc. integrates the arts with social-emotional learning, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.

Inspired by Dottie—a glamorous, confident poodle created by Miami based Fashion Designer, Bernard Holley. Dottie’s character represents resilience and self-expression, our programs use creative exploration as a vehicle for teaching responsibility, goal-setting, adaptability, and leadership.

Youth participants are encouraged not only to create, but to reflect, make decisions, manage projects, and build a positive sense of identity.

We prioritize service to communities that have historically experienced limited access to arts education and enrichment opportunities. Our culturally responsive approach ensures participants feel seen, valued, and empowered while gaining transferable skills aligned to college, career, and workforce readiness.

Programming may include fashion design, visual arts, creative entrepreneurship, cultural storytelling, and life-skills workshops that connect creativity to real-world applications.

Dottie’s World Inc. welcomes partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations to deliver inclusive, measurable, and sustainable programming. Our ultimate purpose is to prepare youth to thrive—creatively, socially, and practically—by equipping them with the skills, confidence, and vision needed to succeed in school, work, and life.
